He has always looked young for his age. When he was 20, he looked 14.

Italian have genetics on their side when it comes to skin. The American ones who don’t plump up always look good.

You can hang onto youthful looks up until about 50. Then- unless you get some 'help'- your face will inevitably get lumpy, saggy and tired. You will look like an old person.

I ran into someone I met 30 years ago recently who is 2 years older than I and he looked younger than me. A lot younger. It was clear he'd had everything done, but it was really good work. He looked frozen in time, with his carefully tinted hamster-brown hair. I could tell he felt sorry for me because I couldn't afford all the tweaks.

Italians have oily skin. It keeps them looking younger than their bio age.

^ I’ve told this story elsewhere, but I recently ran into a former co-worker from at least 12 years ago. I recognized her immediately & greeted her walmly. She didn’t recognize me, acted uncharacteristically nervous, & then, almost under her breath, said, “This is shocking.” I later heard she told a fellow attendee that I looked younger than she remembered from years ago.

R21, Ralph looks better than Tammy, I agree. RDJ has kept himself together fairly well. And I think RDJ really was beautiful when he was young. Ralph was charming and boyish but not really a looker.

He is of Greek and Italian descent. They eat tons of olive oil which will make you look younger and give you A SQUEAkY CLEAN ASSHOLE tm! The guys from that background and women....not so much. Though Sophia Loren has aged well.

Sophia is 74 and looks like she's in her mid 50's.

You're as old as your liver. I work with a guy who is about 1 year older than me and he looks 10 years older. Gray hair, dark circles, lines and a slight humpback. He apparently likes to drink and goes outside to smoke several times a day. You treat your body like garbage and that's what you get.

William is a good looking older guy. He looks his age. Ralph doesn't. The Greek and Italian use of olive oil benefited him greatly.

He does look great OP. But I'm curious to know how old you are. It seems that guys in their 20's and 30's look at 60 as if it's super old. There are plenty of 60 year olds who look like he does.

I look a lot like Ralph and am about the same age, but he looks a bit better because he wears a toupe and makeup. I am also of Italian and Greek descent and have very good skin for my age and lack any notable wrinkles. It's not obvious to me when I look in the mirror, but when I see photos of myself I see the strong resemblance. We could actually pass for brothers.

Around the time he appeared on 'Dancing With The Stars', I remember DL was abuzz with rumours that he was having an affair with his female dance partner/coach. And it seems so far-fetched to me--yes, I know all straight men are dogs and given half a chance they will cheat with a hot younger woman, but Ralph just always seems so Wifeguy to me. Or at least whipped and scared of his wife.

Didn't he have some sort of medical condition that gave him late puberty? I sincerely doubt his youthfulness is the result of "clean living" - it's abnormal for a man who's 60 to look like this. He looked about 16 when he was in his mid-30s.

I’m another 60 year old Italian who gets incredulous responses when people find out my age. Besides staying trim and never smoking, rarely drinking it really is mostly just the luck of genetics, but neither of my parents looked especially youthful. I was also a “late bloomer;” I could buy an under-12 movie ticket until I was 16, when I was in Grad School people assumed I was a freshman, etc, etc. At 40 people still thought I was late 20s while currently people assume I’m in my mid 40s. I do have the oily Italian skin, and it really doesn’t wrinkle or sag much (not yet anyway) because my “skincare routine” has always been non-exsistant.
